Getting started

Coaching for yourself: Start by browsing the portfolios of our Approved Hatch Coaches. Select who you would like to meet and send us a request for a free 20 minute rapport session. If you need help deciding, you can ask Hatch to help.

Coaching for someone else: Open a Sponsor Account, add credits and name the people you are buying for. Each recipient then chooses their own coach and requests their own rapport session.

Hatch pricing

Coaching hours are bought in credits, 1 credit = £10, with no minimum purchase and 12 months to use them as you wish. We don't require a minimum package, or membership, or consultation fee. You simply decide to pay as you go and top up when you need.

Hatch Assigned is a fixed 3 sessions with a coach we pick for you. Any budget left over then buys more time with your chosen tier, shown in the last column.

Hatch tiers

We have four accessible price points at Hatch which are linked to tiers, starting at £50 p/h (5 credits). Each tier reflects where a coach sits on their credentialling journey with one of the professional bodies (ICF, EMCC or AC), not their overall experience.

The Hatch model is built so you can choose your coach based on fit rather than budget. A Fellow coach may have significant leadership and coaching experience but have just started on their credentialling journey.

Hatch Assigned

Let Hatch choose. We hand pick your coach at an introductory rate, from Approved Hatch Coaches who have opted into Hatch Assigned. A great option whether you are new to coaching or open to a fresh perspective.

5 credits

(£50 per hour)

Hatch selects from coaches currently participating in Hatch Assigned across the Fellow, Associate and Lead tiers.
Rapport sessions are not included with Hatch Assigned.
No minimum, and a maximum of 3 hours.
Stop whenever you like, change coach at any point, or carry on together after 3 hours at your coach's normal tier rate.

Fellow Coach

A professionally trained coach working towards a first professional credential or accreditation, or holding a Foundation-level accreditation, with up to 99 eligible coaching experience hours.

7 credits

(£70 per hour)

Select a Fellow Coach directly from the Hatch portfolio to suit your sector experience and coaching focus.
A free 20 minute rapport session is included.
A minimum of 3 sessions is recommended to gain the most from your experience.

Associate Coach

A professionally trained coach holding a recognised Practitioner-level credential or accreditation, with 100–499 eligible coaching experience hours.

9 credits

(£90 per hour)

Select an Associate Coach directly from the Hatch portfolio to suit your sector experience and coaching focus.
A free 20 minute rapport session is included.
A minimum of 3 sessions is recommended to gain the most from your experience.

Lead Coach

A professionally trained coach holding a recognised senior credential or accreditation, with 500 or more eligible coaching experience hours.

13 credits

(£130 per hour)

Choose a Lead Coach with significant coaching hours and an established practice.
A free 20 minute rapport session is included.
A minimum of 3 sessions is recommended to gain the most from your experience.

Why are coaches more affordable via Hatch?

Hatch incubator rates can differ from what a coach charges independently. This reflects the support Hatch gives coaches while they work through their credentialling pathway, in return for which they make a number of hours available at Hatch pricing. All Approved Hatch Coaches are on this route.

Credentialling is a demanding, optional route for coaches committed to their continuing professional development. It takes significant ongoing work to gain and maintain.
