The Hatch Model

Distinct from a traditional coaching marketplace, Hatch brings a unique incubator model to the coaching profession, which enables access to high-quality professional coaching through a network of independently practising coaches progressing within recognised credentialling pathways. The professional value that Hatch coaches gain from the incubator is offset against their typical rates, and that saving is passed on to Hatch clients. This is how we are able to help more people gain access to skilled coaching with the reassurance of the quality, standards and ethics defined by the world's leading credentialling bodies: the ICF (International Coaching Federation), the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council), and the AC (Association for Coaching).
Too often we focus on developing coaches' skills without supporting them to build successful coaching practice. Hatch Inc bridges that gap. It is helping create a healthier coaching ecosystem - one where coaches can thrive, clients can access great coaching, and the profession continues to grow in credibility and impact.

The Story Behind Hatch

"When I came across coaching it felt like someone had turned the lights on."

I realised I'd been dancing in the dark for many years, doing ok, thinking I was growing. But what I'd actually become good at was managing the collisions, not growth. When I saw that there was a dance floor and a rhythm to find, everything changed. I wanted to help others find the switch.

Coaching didn't fix me or change me into someone else. It just helped me access what was already there.

My experience was rooted in leadership, but what coaching helped me build was emotional intelligence that rippled into every part of my life. When I trained as a coach, I kept meeting people I related to: accomplished professionals whose lives had been quietly expanded by what was essentially a series of skilled conversations in a non-judgemental space. They too had trained seriously and passed it forward. Many were working towards professional credentials that require a significant investment of coaching hours and reflection.

At the same time, there were people who were exactly where I had been, pushing through a collision course without realising they could learn to dance instead. I decided these two groups needed each other. Hatch was built on that experience and a conviction that more people deserve access to skilled coaching.

"Hatch is exactly what I needed on my journey. I hope it helps you on yours."
